Submitting proposals for candidates for the European Inventor Award 2010
The EPO and the European Commission have launched a public call for proposals for candidates for the fifth European Inventor Award. Anyone may propose a candidate for the competition - inventors may even enter themselves.
Awards are given to European inventors in four categories: Industry, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises/Research, Lifetime Achievement, Non-European Countries.
The primary criterion for participating inventors is that they hold at least one valid European patent.
More information about the competition and entry forms can be found at www.epo.org/european-inventor. The deadline for submitting the proposals is 12 September 2009.
